What is the difference in mixing 5000 I.U. of HCG with 5ml of Bacteriostatic water versus 10ml?  Thanks!

5000 IU mixed with 5 ml bac water gives a concentration of 1,ooo IU per every 1 ml of fluid.  That is 5,000 / 5 = 1,000.

If you add 10 ml of Bac water it gives you a concentration of 500 IU per every 1 ml of fluid.  That is 5,000/10= 500.

It just changes the concentration.
Hope this makes sense and helps.

Hi,

This is what we like to use to help us  mix our injections...

http://www.hcgloss.com/calculators.html

I'll give an example of how it works:

Amount of HCG powder: 5000
Preferred Injection volume: .1    (this is a 10 on an insulin syringe)
HCG Dose per Injection: 175  (iu)
Click "Calculate and it will show the diluent needed: 2.857   cc of bac water mixed with HCG powder

Hope it helps with dosage calculating
